Allan D. Holley, 68, of St. Clair passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown. He was born on March 20, 1955 in Pottsville. Allan was the son of the late Harry D. Holley. He is survived by his mother, Anna (Zelinsky) Holley of Pottsville. Allan is also survived by his wife, Debra Ann E. (Pogash) Holley, to whom he was married for 38 years. Allan was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair. He was a 1974 Graduate of Pottsville Area High School and the South Schuylkill Vo-Tech. He then worked for the Former Quirin's Machine Shop in St. Clair. Allan was a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxilliary. Allan and his daughter, Amanda shared a wonderful hobby of their love for plants and gardening. He was an avid fisherman and boater and enjoyed spending time with his son-in-law, Tyler and his brother, Francis. Allan was a fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, the Eagles, and the Phillies. In addition to his mother and his wife, Allan is survived by his daughter, Amanda Betz, wife of Tyler of Allentown, his brother, Francis Holley of Pottsville, and his cousin, Raymond Lavenberg, husband of Joanne of Collegeville, his 2 granddogs, Glitter and Otis and nieces and nephews. A Religious Service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair at 11AM with Deacon John Setlock, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 6PM-8PM with a Prayer Service at 7PM at the funeral home. Also, relatives and friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:30AM-11AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville. Allan is in the care of the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair.
