Anna M. (Smith) Frantz MacNutt

Anna M. Frantz MacNutt, 85, of Pottsville, formerly of St. Clair passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Gardens at York Terrace, Pottsville. She was born on October 14, 1938 in St. Clair. 

Anna was the daughter of the late William Smith and Margaret (Brennan) Smith. 

Anna was of the Protestant faith. She was employed as a crossing guard by the St. Clair School District. In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Margaret, Hannah, and 

Betty Ann and 2 brothers, Bobby and Jack. 

Anna is survived by her daughter, Anna Borowski, wife of Dennis of Palo Alto-Pottsville, her daughter, Margaret Frantz, of Minersville, her son, Robert Frantz, husband of Theresa of Pottsville, 

her son, William Frantz, husband of Candy of Pottsville, her daughter, Mary Lurwick, wife of John of Port Carbon, her son Edward Frantz, husband of Kathy of Mill Creek-Pottsville, 

her sister, Helen Frantz of St. Clair, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. 

A Religious Service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair at 11AM with Rev. Jack Culbert, officiating.  Friends and Relatives are invited to call 

Monday morning from 9AM-11AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville. James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair is entrusted with arrangements.
