Bernard C. Liptock

Bernard C. Liptock, 80, of St. Clair passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. He was born in New Philadelphia on July 20, 1942. Bernard was the son of the late John M. Liptock, Sr. and Bertha (Snitzer) Liptock. Bernie was a member of St. Michael Orthodox Church, St. Clair. He was a 1960 Graduate of St. Clair High School. He was employed at the Public Welfare Office in Pottsville, where he retired after 30 years. Many people would remember Bernie for his long, daily walks and friendly conversation around the town of St. Clair. Bernie served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John M. Liptock, Jr. and an infant brother, Joseph Liptock. Bernie is survived by his sister, Ann Marie Chiminitz of Toms River, New Jersey and his sister, Joan Mundis of Mechanicsburg, PA and nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at St. Michael Orthodox Church, St. Clair with Very Rev. Jeff Zias, officiating. Interment will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Clair. The family would appreciate contributions in Bernie's memory to St. Michael Orthodox Church, 106 North Morris Street, St. Clair, PA 17970. Bernie is in the care of the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair.
