David M. "FAJJJ" Pohronezny

David M. "FAJJJ" Pohronezny, 68 of Port Carbon passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at his home.  He was born in Pottsville on March 22, 1957.  David was the son of the late Alex 

Pohronezny and Margaret (Lazovi) Pohronezny.  David was of the Catholic Faith.  He ran in 13 Marathons.  He earned a Bachelor's Degree.

David was a Pharmaceutical Representative for Roche Laboratories in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

He was in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Ritchie.  

David is survived by his daughter, Pamela Pohronezny of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, his daughter, Valerie Clouser, wife of David of Highspire, PA, his daughter, Christine Goodman, wife of Dean of 

Farmersburg, Iowa, his son, Alex Pohronezny of Pittsburgh, PA, his sister, Deborah Fair, wife of Robert of Deptford, NJ, his sister, Margaret Stansfield, wife of Tracy Albert of Lehighton, PA, 

 his 5 grandchildren, Dylan, Parker, Oliver, Gavin, and Evie Mae.  

David is also survived by his caregivers, his niece, Angel Pohronezny and his cousin, Matthew Lazovi and other nieces and nephews.  

A Religious Service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair at 12PM with Deacon John Setlock, officiating.  Relatives and

friends are invited to call from 11AM to 12PM on Tuesday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville at a later date.

The family would appreciate contributions in David's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers.
