Jane Ann (Frantz) Mickonis

Jane Ann Mickonis, 66, of Coaldale passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at her home. She was born on February 3, 1957 in Pottsville. Jane was the daughter of the late William Frantz and Jeanette (Witchey) Frantz.  Jane was of the Methodist Faith. She was a 1975 Graduate of St. Clair High School. She was an advocate for Safer Streets for Tamaqua's Little Feet. She worked as a support coordinator for Access Services in Orwigsburg. In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by a son, George Dougherty, who passed away in 2017. She is also preceded in death by a brother, George Frantz. Jane is survived by her son, Bob Mickonis, fiance of Kelly Watkins of Virginia Beach, Viriginia, her son, Shawn Mickonis, husband of Charlene of Schuylkill Haven, her grandson, Shawn Jr., her grandson, Robby, her granddaughter, Kaylee, her granddaughter, Makayla and a niece Jennifer and her family. A Religious Service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair at 11AM with Rev. Jack Culbert, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10AM to 11AM at the funeral home Friday morning. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair. Jane is in the care of the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair.
