John G. Dronick

John G. Dronick, 75, of Orwigsburg passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pottsville on January 14, 1948. John was the son of the late Nicholas Dronick and Joanna (Michalik) Dronick. He was a member of the former St. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair. He was a 1965 Graduate of Nativity BVM High School and furthered his education by attending welding school.  John retired from Ebinger Iron Works in Schuylkill Haven, where he was employed as an iron worker. He was in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Dronick and a sister, Joan Achenbach. John is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Fanelli of Orwigsburg, his sister, Carol Rennick of St. Clair and his grandson, Landen Joseph Fanelli of Orwigsburg and nieces and a nephew. A Private Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at St. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Port Carbon on Friday, April 21, 2023 with Monsignor William Glosser, officiating. John is in the care of the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair.
