Joseph W. Achenbach, Jr.

Joseph W. Achenbach, Jr., 72, of St. Clair passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Schuylkill East Norwegian Street, Pottsville. He was born on March 18, 1952 in

Pottsville. Joe was the son of the late Joseph Achenbach and Virginia (Ughes) Achenbach. He was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair. Joe was an 

active member of the West End Fire Company #5, Arnots Addition-St. Clair. Joe had been a former auditor of New Castle Township and he was active with the St. Clair Car Cruise. He was also a 

member of the Teamsters. 

Joe is survived by his brother, Robert Achenbach of St. Clair, his uncle, Robert Ughes, husband of Margaret of Pottsville, his cousin, Walter Ughes, husband of Alice of Minersville, his cousin, 

Kevin Palamar, husband of Judy of Allentown, his cousin, Michael Palamar, husband of Jennifer of Reading, and his cousin, Terri Reeser, wife of Mark of Sinking Spring. Also surviving is a

dear little boy, Victor, who was his best bud. 

A Religious Service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair at 11AM with Deacon John Setlock, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited

to call from 9:30AM to 11AM Tuesday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Casimir's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Port Carbon. James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair 

is entrusted with arrangements.
