Lydia (Bednarik) Lockhart

Lydia Lockhart, 93, of Poland, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Masternick Memorial Nursing Home in Middletown, Ohio.  She was born in St. Clair on March 20, 1932.  

Lydia was the daughter of the late John Bednarik and Ann (Marcenik) Bednarik.  

Lydia was of the Protestant Faith.  She worked as a supervisor at Ohio Bell in Youngstown, Ohio, from where she retired.

In addition to her parents, Lydia is preceded in death by her husband, James Lockhart and her brother, John Bednarik.  

She is survived by second cousins.  

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair at 11AM.  James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair is entrusted with arrangements.
