Martha R. (Horrocks) Golden

Martha "Marcie" R. Golden, 90, of Pottsville passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Providence Place, Pottsville.  She was born in Saint Clair on January 29, 1935.  

Martha was the daughter of the late William Horrocks and Mary (Seitzinger) Horrocks.  

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville.  Martha was a bookkeeper at the Department of Public Welfare.

In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Golden, who passed  away in 2002.  She is also preceded in death by her sister, Betty.  

She was the last member of her immediate family. 

Martha is survived by her close friends, Steve and Debbie Comisac and their children, Emily, wife of Tom Nelson, Sarah Comisac, Stephen Comisac and Katie Comisac.  

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville with Father Kevin Bobbin, officiating.  Calling hours were held at the church

from 9AM to 10AM.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
