Patricia A. (Powers) Klemer

Patricia A. Klemer, 90, of Downingtown, formerly of Pottsville, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Accelerated Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Exton. She was born on April 11, 1934 in 

Pottsville. Patricia was the daughter of the late Leo Powers and Margaretta (Poppert) Powers. 

She was a member of the former St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair, which is currently St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church. Patricia was a 1952 Graduate of Pottsville Area 

High School. She enjoyed the casinos, shopping and going for walks. Patricia also liked to read. Her great-grandchildren fondly referred to her as GG.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Klemer, who passed away in 1990, her grandson, Geoffrey Hughes, and brothers and sisters. She is the last

member of her immediate family. 

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Patricia Klemer of Boynton Beach, Florida, her daughter, JoAnne Woody, wife of Don of Westminster, Colorado, her son, Raymond Klemer, companion of 

Christine Hunter of Port Carbon, her daughter, Lisa Houtz, wife of Terry of Havre de Grace, Maryland, 4 grandchildren, Lewis, Heather, Matthew, Daniel and 7 great-grandchildren, Kamryn, 

Abby, Lily, Cole, Odin, Grayson, and Ellie. 

A Religious Service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair at 11AM with Monsignor William Glosser, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited

to call from 9:30AM to 11AM Monday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville.  James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair is entrusted

with arrangements.
