Robert J. Ughes

Robert J. Ughes, 89, of Pottsville passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.  He was born on December 9, 1935.  Robert was 

the son of the late Anthony Ughes and Eva (Pucas) Ughes.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret F. Ughes, who passed away in April of this year.  

He was of the Catholic Faith.  Robert worked at the former Good Samaritan Medical Center, Pottsville.  

In addition to his wife and parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Walter Ughes and his 2 sisters, Virginia Achenbach and Theresa Palamar.  

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at St. Casimir's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Port Carbon at 11AM with Deacon John Setlock, officiating.
