Sharon D. (Chattin) Hartranft

Sharon D. Hartranft, 86, of Robesonia passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 at her home, where she resided with her daughter, Carol and her son-in-law, Robin.  She was born in Minersville on

September 30, 1938.  Sharon was the daughter of the late William Chattin and Mildred (Clifford) Chattin.  

Sharon was a former member of the United Church of Christ Church in Pottsville.  

She was a Graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, Womelsdorf.  Also, Sharon worked at the former YMCA in Pottsville.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Chattin, her sister, Joy Watkins and her great-granddaughter, Grace Witwer.  

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Carol A. Daub, wife of Robin of Robesonia, her daughter, Sherri L. Bowers of Wyomissing, her brother, Bruce P. Chattin, husband of Laura of Pottsville, 

her sister, Mildred Kolp of Lancaster, her 6 grandchildren, her 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

A Religious Services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair at 11AM with Rev. Jack Culbert, officiating.  Relatives and friends are invited to 

call from 10AM to 11AM Friday morning at the funeral home.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at a later date in Mount Peace Cemetery, Minersville.
